Can you believe it, it's that time of year again! Since Valentine's falls on a Sunday, we hope to see many of you in the Billet enjoying our popular roasts (come early, it fills up faster each week). In the evening, leave the kids at home and enjoy a specially-themed Dine With Wine offer- two main courses with a bottle of sparkling, for only £30. It's sure to be a relaxing, romantic evening.
Psst.... rumor has it that Duncan, manager of Wimbledon pub The Dog & Fox, is planning a Shrove Tuesday celebration with all the Young's venues in the area! More details will follow, but you can sure to expect seeing our dedicated, serious chefs having some fun for once as they try to become the best pancake 'tossers' in Wimbledon! Our Monies on John!
Our Beer Quiz has proven so popular that we'll be hosting it the third Tuesday of every month. Challenge your friends as you taste a selection of our finest and attempt to match the flavors with our tasting notes. Next one is February 16th- don't miss out!
We will be showing all the Games covered by the BBC in the Bar with Pints of Chilli served at Half Time!

New Year...New Dishes
To acknowledge the change in calendars, Head Chef John Pimm has planned some spectacular seasonal additions to our menu. These fab new dishes will join our popular current offers to create an even better dining offer! We even have an exciting new vegetarian offer coming: butternut squash, pine nut and spinach cake, with poached egg, sure to be a treat even for the carnivores!

English Food With English Wine
Although you won't usually find English-made wines served at your neighbourhood local, The Billet would like to change that. After all, why let classic English dishes get all the glory?
We've chosen to include on our menu a selection from Three Choirs Vineyard, in Gloucestershire. Enjoy a glass of their classic white or a crisp, refreshing rosé...it's so good you'll probably want the whole bottle!
We've also been selling a lot of the Three Choirs White with our classic Pork Belly dish- it's a winning combination of flavors, as well as a great way to celebrate the best of British products.

Farewell to Alex
It's with a heavy heart that we prepare to say goodbye to the Billet's assistant manager, Alex. You know him as the helpful Canadian guy who always has a smile on his face. Alex's time in the UK has unfortunately come to an end and we wish him all the best for his return to his native land. He'll be leaving some very big shoes to fill! While we know it'll be hard to find someone as friendly and passionate as Alex, those up to the task are welcome to stop in for chat.
