Our roasts are the stuff of local legend—heaving-with-the-good-stuff plates stacked with slow-roasted meats (tender, golden-edged, full-of-flavour), sky-reaching Yorkshires, and gravy that could win awards (and has been known to cause second-helping debates). From 5th Jan to 27th Feb, join us Monday to Friday for our Winter Set Menu – a celebration of brilliant British produce, cooked with care and a little kitchen flair by Head Chef Billy. Expect dishes like our braised lamb shoulder curry with rice and samphire & tomato chutney (comforting and aromatic in all the right ways) and day boat scampi with samphire tartare sauce and skinny fries. Enjoy 2 courses for £19 or 3 for £23 – your perfectly reasonable excuse to dodge the cold and settle in for something warming and Village-worthy.
