Sunday roasts

Dine in Wimbledon

Our talented Head Chef Billy has you covered – from laid-back leisurely lunches, and slow-cooked, gravy-drenched Sunday roasts (the kind that call for stretchy trousers). Our new, proudly homegrown menu is brimming with the best-of-British bounty, from just-dug vegetables to grass-fed, butcher-approved cuts (all from farmers and producers we actually love). Expect pub classics with a just-right twist and plates that taste like a love letter to the British Isles. So round up your mates or your four-legged local, and tuck into something worth talking about.

And drinks? We’ve got you sorted from first clink to final top-up. Our carefully-curated line-up of top-pour tipples – think small-batch spirits, globe-trotting wines, and crisp, straight-from-the-tap pints, is built for easy sipping and long, lazy sessions. So whether you’re kicked back in one of our deck chairs on the common (shoes off, sunnies on) or catching up with your favourites at the bar, there’s always a perfectly-mixed moment waiting to be had.

Sunday roasts

Sundays here are a no-apologies, loosen-the-belt kind of affair. Our roasts are the stuff of local legend—heaving-with-the-good-stuff plates stacked with slow-roasted meats (tender, golden-edged, full-of-flavour), sky-reaching Yorkshires, and gravy that could win awards (and has been known to cause second-helping debates). And yes, a post-lunch tipple in a deck chair on the common is practically non-negotiable (you’ll be asking yourself why this isn’t your every-Sunday ritual).

Winter Set Menu

From 5th Jan to 27th Feb, join us Monday to Friday for our Winter Set Menu – a celebration of brilliant British produce, cooked with care and a little kitchen flair by Head Chef Billy. Expect dishes like our braised lamb shoulder curry with rice and samphire & tomato chutney (comforting and aromatic in all the right ways) and day boat scampi with samphire tartare sauce and skinny fries. Enjoy 2 courses for £19 or 3 for £23 – your perfectly reasonable excuse to dodge the cold and settle in for something warming and Village-worthy.

Celebrate With Us

Whether you’re blowing out the candles on a big birthday, rounding up the family just because, or pulling the gang together for a proper community knees-up, we’re your go-to spot in Wimbledon. Our celebration-ready party menus are packed with crowd-pleasing favourites (the best memories are always made around our table). So gather your loved ones, leave the hosting to us, and get ready for the kind of celebration you’ll be talking about long after the last slice of cake has disappeared.

Proof is in the pudding...

Truly a Gem of a pub just off Wimbledon Common with lots of charm. AMAZING food (especially the Sunday roast), friendly staff, and a cozy vibe inside. Perfect spot for a pint after a walk, and dog-friendly too. My favorite locals in the area!

What a lovely surprise it was to find such delicious food and attentive staff. We even braved bringing our two dogs and we couldn’t have had a happier Bank Holiday lunch.
